Ending Things, directed by Kevin Sullivan, will see Anthony Mackie and Priyanka Chopra Jonas exchange screen time. The stars are set to feature inside a True Lies-style action picture together.
Terminating Things is about a hitwoman that wants out from the assassin profession and tells her “business” partner that she’s ending their romantic connection as well, according to Deadline. However she realises she doesn’t want to let go of that portion of their relationship. They must band together for one final night out in order to survive the split – and their last work together.
Inspire Entertainment and Mackie’s Make It With Gravy Productions will produce with Davis Entertainment and Lit Entertainment.
The announcement comes as Anthony Mackie prepares to make his directorial debut with Spark, a drama starring Saniyya Sidney (King Richard) as Claudette Colvin, an unsung Civil Rights pioneer. Mackie just concluded the Rupert Wyatt-directed Desert Warrior and is slated to reprise his role as Captain America in the Marvel franchise’s fourth instalment.
Priyanka Chopra is a Bollywood actress. Jonas, on the other hand, is fresh off The Matrix Resurrections and the romantic comedy Text For You, in which he co-starred with Sam Hueghan, as well as the AGBO Amazon limited series Citadel.
