Charles Bronson

Tough man actor Until his final big escape towards the skies in 2003, Charles Bronson had a pretty challenging net worth of $65 million. But a net worth just like didn’t come so easily for him; he would have to kick asses all over the world before becoming the world’s highest-paid actor. In 1951, Charles Bronson made his cinematic debut inside an uncredited role in the movie “You’re in the Navy Now.” Afterwards when, he made appearances in modest roles in films, including the 3D horror classic “House of Wax” as Vincent Price’s deaf-mute henchman Igor. He altered his last name from Buchinsky to Bronson a year afterwards, in 1954, to avoid the perceived stigma of having an Eastern-European last name.

In 1960, he won a part in “The Magnificent Seven,” co-starring Steve McQueen, which may become his big picture. Bronson would then go on to star in additional ensemble action/adventure films such as “The Great Escape” after that. He ultimately broke out with a solo actor in “Death Wish,” which paved the way for him to become a legitimate celebrity with lesser studios, featuring in successors to his hallmark film as well as other action films unconnected to Death Wish. He is still regarded as a cult favourite amongst moviegoers today. At the age of 81, Charles Bronson died on August 30, 2003. He was wedded three times and left four children behind.

Audrey Knauer, a complete stranger to Bronson, enraged her family in 1999 by leaving her $300,000 fortune to Charles Bronson, a person she hadn’t ever met. The will was contested in court by Knauer’s relatives, but they were eventually unsuccessful.

Charles Bronson had been worth $45 million when he died in 2003, as per his testament. That’s almost $65 million in today’s money. His surviving wife received $1.6 million in addition to an $8 million Malibu estate. His children also received a $5 million Vermont beach property and a $5 million Bel Air estate (which was sold for $20 million by an unconnected party in 2014).

Charles Bronson was the highest-paid actor on the globe during the height of his career. “The Stone Killer,” “Chino,” “Death Wish,” and “St. Ives” each netted him $1 million. For “Death Wish II,” he was paid $1.5 million. In 1982, he was paid $2 million for “10 To Midnight,” which is equal to $5 million today.
