Aditya Chopra’s Broadway musical debut, “Come Fall In Love,” is presently being seen by Rani Mukerji in San Diego.

Recently, Rani Mukerji took a plane to San Diego, California, to attend the Broadway premiere of her husband Aditya Chopra’s musical Come Fall In Love (CFIL), which is also the first Bollywood musical to be staged there. Vishal and Sheykhar are making their compositional debuts as well. As an Associate Choreographer on a Broadway show, Shruti Merchant will debut.

The musical adaption of Chopra’s famous film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Come Fall In Love, will premiere on September 14 at The Old Globe in San Diego.

Shoba Narayan, who portrays Simran and is the show’s primary protagonist, recently posted a photo of herself and Rani on social media. Shoba posted the images on her Instagram account with the captions: “Thank you Rani for your words. So thrilling to have you in our audience last night. #comefallinlove #ddlj @yrf.” The duo is seen smiling as they posed for the photos at Old Globe Theatre. Just a while ago, Shoba shared yet another picture on her Instagram story and wrote: “Back for round 2 of Come Fall In Love.”

Come Fall In Love stars Austin Colby as Rog Mandel, Irvine Iqbal as Baldev, Rupal Pujara as Lajjo, Vishal Vaidya as Ajit, Siddharth Menon as Kuljt, Kate Loprest as Emily ‘MinkySoulard, Juice Mackins as Ben, Hannah Jewel Kohn as Cookie, Jeremy Kushnier as Roger Mandel, Sr., Amita Batra as Ensemble, and others. While Simran, an Indian girl, and Roger, an American, will be the subjects of the musical rather than the Bollywood film, which followed the romance between Shah Rukh Khan’s Raj and Kajol’s Simran.

Aditya Chopra stated that the goal of the musical adaptation of Come Fall in Love (CFIL) is to present Indian culture to a global audience in a remark that almost reads like an invitation to the world to see CFIL. In October 2021, Aditya made the musical adaption official.
