This is what is similar Vidya Balan Starrer Sherni and Simba’s Iconic Footstep scene

Ever since the Vidya Balan Starerr film Sherni’s trailer was released it has been receiving an immensely positive response from the people. However, there are some users that are also drawing parallels. One Instagram user spotted something similar between Sherni’s poster and Simba’s Iconic Footstep scene.

In the Instagram post, the user named notywhyral pointed the similarity between the poster of the film Sherni and Lion King’s Simba. According to this user, the Sherni poster is similar to Simba’s footstep scene in the “The Lion King” film.

In Sherni, the actress will be seen presenting the role of an IFS officer who keeps tabs on man-eating tigers. While the movie is yet to release many are looking forward to it as they believe that Vidya Balan is an extraordinary actress. Even in the trailer, people believe they can see a glimpse of what to expect in this movie. The people out there are talking about the film and complimenting Vidya for taking up this challenging role and doing it as it seems so simple.


Apart from Vidya Balan, Sherni film stars Sharad Saxena, Mukul Chaddha, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, and Neeraj Kabi in key roles. The movie is all set to release on 18th June on Amazon Prime Video. It would be releasing online due to the covid pandemic all the theatres are shut. Sharing the trailer of the film, Vidya Balan wrote, “’#SherniTrailerOut Be courageous. Be strong. Be fearless. It’s time for the #Sherni to roar!’ Gajraj Rao commented saying, ‘Brilliant’. She is looking very excited about the film, and soon she will promoting the movie online as she does at the time of Shakuntala Devi. The actress was last seen in Shakuntala Devi in the film with Vidya Balan Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh, and Jisshu Sengupta were seen in the supporting role. The movie was also released on Amazon Prime Video, and the film performed well and loved the audiences.
