Randeep Hooda Gets Brutally Slammed By Netizens For Casteist ‘Joke’ Against Mayawati

Actor Randeep Hooda has landed in a trouble over his comment on Bahujan Samaj Party chief minister Mayawati. An old video of the actor cracking a sexist and casteist joke on the politician. In the video, Randeep is saying, “I think I will tell a very dirty joke.” The audience can be seen laughing and enjoying the joke.

This didn’t go well with the netizens. Randeep got criticized on Twitter, many users also shared a hashtag ‘#ArrestRandeepHooda to arrest Randeep based on the joke. A Twitter user wrote, “if this does not explain how casteist and sexist this society is, especially towards Dalit women, I don’t know what will. the “joke”, the audacity, the crowd. Randeep Hooda, a top Bollywood actor talking about a Dalit woman, who has been the voice of the oppressed.”

Another Twitter handler wrote, “The worst thing of dalit society is that they link everything to caste .especially when the person targeted him/her personally rather than his/her(or due to) caste. Think once if Randeep joked on Rahul or modi no one would have stood #ArresteRandeepHooda #सुरेश_मूँछ_जरूर_रखेगा”

CPI-ML Politburo leader Kavita Krishnaa also took a dig at the actor and decribed Hooda’s comments as ‘Casteist’. “‘Not a ‘joke’ @RandeepHooda… You are doing what casteist, misogynist, insecure turds do when confronted with women whose strength they fear: attack the woman as unattractive,”

The video has received a lot of comments on Twitter with many users slamming and asking the actor to apologise.

Apart from Randeep Hooda, Other actors like Yuvika Chaudhary and Munmun Dutta also received flak on social media for using casteist slurs in their videos.

On the work front, Randeep Hooda was last seen in Salman Khan starer ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’.
