Patralekhaa Calls Out Body Shaming After ‘Toaster’ Screening, Urges Kindness Around Postpartum Changes

Patralekhaa was last seen in Phule, where she portrayed Savitribai Phule, earning significant appreciation from critics for her performance and has been receiving several awards for her role. Following this, she is also building her production house, which recently marked its debut with Toaster that’s already becoming a huge success. The film, released on Netflix, has been basking in positive response, receiving love from both critics and audiences alike.

However, during a recent appearance at a screening, the conversation around her quickly turned unpleasant, with some pages commenting on her physical appearance. Calling out the insensitive narrative, Patralekhaa responded strongly, addressing the trolling and highlighting the realities of her postpartum body. Emphasising that such scrutiny is unwarranted, she urged people to be kinder and more mindful, firmly standing up against the criticism and refusing to let it pass unchallenged.
