John Abraham may be one of Bollywood’s greatest actors, but underneath all of the high-octane action scenes he pulls off onscreen, he is a timid and introverted individual. John, unlike many other celebs, isn’t very active on social media. His Instagram area is largely filled with animal welfare initiatives, since he is a major animal lover. He also utilises the area to post photos with his animal buddies and to advertise his future movie. John discussed his connection with social media in depth in a recent interview.

John Abraham was recently interviewed on Mashable India’s The Bombay Journey, where he was questioned why he doesn’t use social media much. The actor said that he simply can’t bring himself to use it.  “Social media is a very good tool. Kyunki main bahut bada animal-lover hoon (I am a huge animal lover) and I believe that social media helps in protecting animals. Toh mere liye toh bahut acchi baat hain, but main khud apne liye istemaal nahi kar sakta hoon (So, it’s an extremely good thing for me, but I can’t use it for myself). I am not socially equipped. Nahi hota hain mere se kyunki main kaafi shy hoon. (I can’t do it as I am an extremely shy person),” said the performer. John Abraham went on to say that even if he tried to post something on social media, he felt compelled to do so, and that the public would feel the same way.

When host Siddhaarth Aalambayan commended the actor on his recent BTS Instagram postings in support of his next flick Attack, the actor John Abraham disclosed that his manager is in charge of his social media. He goes on to say that he doesn’t have any social networking apps on his phone, such as Whatsapp or iMessage. John further said that he does not even know how to load a post. John said, “I swear on my career, I do not know how to log into Facebook.” John mentioned that he has made a conscious decision to not learn it, explaining that he does not want to “get addicted to that space”.

However, John Abraham is preparing for the premiere of his forthcoming flick Attack Part 1, in which he stars with Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh. On April 1st, 2022, Attack will be released in theatres. John also stars opposite Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria in Ek Villain Returns.
