Salman Khan will appear in the eagerly anticipated movie “Tiger 3,” which also stars Katrina Kaif.

After receiving a death threat in early June, just days after Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala was shot and killed near Mansa, Punjab, Salman Khan recently sought for a weapons licence. According to reports, the letter was signed by two people identified only by their initials, G.B. and L.B., which are believed to be Lawrence Bishnoi—who threatened the actor in 2018 as well—and his Canadian assistant Goldy Brar.

A few days prior to the licencing process being finished, Salman was also spotted in the Mumbai police headquarters paying a visit to Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar.

Now, according to Hindustan Times, Salman has received a weapons licence for personal defence after receiving threats against his life. He had also upgraded his everyday vehicle to a defenceless land cruiser. According to the report, a senior IPS official acknowledged that the licence had been printed, and in accordance with protocol, the file was forwarded to the deputy commissioner of police’s office (zone 9) for verification and to verify the person’s criminal history.

The officials also stated that as soon as the background investigation and document verification were successful. According to reports, Salman’s representative picked up the licence from the police headquarters’ firearm licencing section and gave it over after getting the individual’s acknowledgment.

Salman Khan is now collaborating with Pooja Hegde on the Farhad Samji-directed film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. It will debut on April 21, 2023, and Maneesh Sharma is rumoured to have directed it. Shehnaaz Gill and Aayush Sharma will also play the key roles in the film, according to sources in the media. Later, Salman also starred in movies like Godfather, Ved, No Entry Mein Entry, and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
