Mumbai: Telugu actress Lakshmi Manchu has launched her own YouTube channel earlier this month. The actress feels that this is the best time to make the most of the digital world. Though the actress was always asked to start this venture, she waited for the right time to start it.
“I was being asked to start a YouTube channel for years. I hadn’t seen at first what more value I could bring with it, but now with the world becoming more digital, I thought it was a great way to start. I am really excited for a new journey,” the actress told news agency IANS.
When asked what would be the focus of the content on the channel, Lakshmi jokingly replied, “The main focus is obviously going to be me!
She further said, “I am going to make some series on different things that we can talk about and I am open to suggestions as well.”
Lakshmi also hosts a cookery show for a digital platform where she invites celebrity guests, where a variety of food is prepared. The actress is focusing on creating quirky content digitally. They have a reason for this too.
The actress said, “Now more than ever, people are on their phones instead of television and I think this is the medium which has gradually become their main source of entertainment. Therefore, Lakshmi Manchu is everywhere. You can’t deny me!”
