Boney Kapoor confirmed his 3rd film with Ajith Kumar to be out this Diwali

Ajith Kumar, a popular Tamil actor, is preparing for the debut of his forthcoming movie Valimai, which itself is set to enter theatres on February 24. Ajith leads an ensemble cast that includes Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya Gummakonda, and Janhvi Kapoor. Producer Boney Kapoor has joined the project, which is his second cooperation starring Ajith.

On Tuesday, February 15, as fans are anticipating the debut of Valimai, producer Boney Kapoor made interesting news. The producer revealed that he will be collaborating alongside Ajith Kumar for such third time, as well as the movie will indeed be named AK61.

The picture is set to begin production in March, and we now have an exclusive update on its release date. This year’s Diwali, which falls on October 24th, 2022, is set for a theatrical release. During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Society, Boney Kapoor personally verified the news. It will undoubtedly be a great Diwali treat for Ajith’s fans.

The action-thriller is set to be helmed by H Vinoth, who notably helmed the Tamil adaptation of Pink, Nerkonda Paarvai. Ajith was recently spotted with a Zapata-style moustache, as well as his image quickly went viral. It’s said to be his look for the movie.

According to industry rumours, Keerthy Suresh has been cast as the main heroine. The remainder of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed, but it is known that Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the soundtrack and Nirav Shah will be in charge of the cinematography.

The Boney made his debut in southern cinema with Nerkonda Paarvai. Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang, and Abhirami Venkatachalam had pivotal parts inside the movie.
