Bigg Boss 13 winner and popular television actor Sidharth Shukla has passed away today morning (September 2). He was 40.
Dr R Sukhdeve of Cooper hospital has confirmed the passing away of Siddharth Shukla. He said that the actor was brought dead to the hospital. “He was brought to the hospital about half an hour ago. A post mortem will be conducted,” he said. The post mortem examination has not begun as the police procedures are still going on.
As of now, the reports claimed that Sidharth died after suffering a massive heart attack, although confirmation is awaited.
The untimely death of Sidharth has left the entertainment industry shocked. His friends and colleagues took to social media to pay their tribute.
Kapil Sharma tweeted, “Oh god, it’s really shocking n heartbreaking, my condolences to the family n prayers for the departed soul Om Shanti.”
His friend, Vindu Dara Singh posted on Twitter, “Gone too soon bro @sidharth_shukla your glow will be with us forever and your loss is just irreplaceable!! There was no winner like you in #Biggboss and there never will be another ,lagta hai buri nazar par ab hamesha vishvas karna padega ! #RipSidharthShukla.”
Actor Manoj Bajpayee wrote, “OMG!!! This is So Shocking!!! Words will fail to describe the shock and sense of loss of his near and dear ones !!! May he rest in peace !!! No yaar !!!!”
Sidharth Shukla made his acting debut with the television show, Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008. He then appeared in shows like Love U Zindagi, Aahat, and CID. However, Sidharth rose to fame from the popular serial Balika Vadhu, wherein he was seen in the main lead. Following this, he also made several appearances in reality shows such as India’s Got Talent, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, Bigg Boss season 13.
In fact, Shukla won Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Bigg Boss 13. He was also seen in Bigg Boss 14 as a ‘Toofani Senior’ along with Hina Khan and Gauhar Khan.
Sidharth Shukla has also worked on the silver screen. He was also seen in Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt -starrer Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
The actor was recently seen as a special guest on Bigg Boss OTT and Dance Deewane 3 along with his rumored girlfriend Shenaaz Gill.
