Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui had a case filed against him for harming the Bengali community

The actor of “Manjhi” had a complaint filed against him for allegedly hurting the feelings of the Bengali community.

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui does not appear to be benefiting from the current situation. In the midst of all the scandals surrounding his marriage to Aaliya Siddiqui, the actor is now embroiled in a new one.

According to sources, the actor from “Manjhi” has been accused of hurting the Bengali community’s feelings and has a lawsuit filed against him.

Bollywood star Nawazzuddin Siddiqui and the CEO of Coca-Cola India were the targets of a police complaint made on Wednesday by Dibyayan Banerji, a lawyer with the Calcutta High Court. The actor and firm are accused of hurting the Bengali community’s feelings with their most recent Sprite advertisement, according to the lawsuit.

Before the complaint was made, the advertising sparked a wave of social media fury calling on Bengalis to boycott all Coca-Cola goods. Bengali translation of the new Sprite advertisement makes the implication that members of the Bengali community would prefer to starve themselves than to work, which has sparked a fierce outcry.

Meanwhile, in the Hindi version of the ad, the petitioner was quoted as saying, “The main advertisement by Coca-Cola for its product Sprite was in Hindi. And we have no problems with that. We only have a problem with Bengali dubbing of the ad which is running on various TV channels and websites.”

According to a Livemint article, upon receipt of the complaint, the business removed the Bengali version of the recent Sprite commercial featuring actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui from TV and other social media platforms.
