William Murray

William Murray is indeed an actor and comedian from the United States. He rose to prominence on Saturday Night Live, where he received his first Emmy Award for just a series of performances, as well as later starred in comedies such as Meatballs, Caddyshack (1980), Stripes (1981), Tootsie (1982), Ghostbusters (1984), Ghostbusters II, What About Bob? (1991), Groundhog Day (1993), Kingpin (1996), The Man Who Knew Too Little (1997), as well as Osmosis Jones (1998). (2001). Quick Change (1990), which he co-directed alongside Howard Franklin, would be his only directing credit.

William Murray went on to appear in Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation (2003), about which he won a Golden Globe, a British Academy Film Award, and also was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor. He’s previously worked with Wes Anderson as well as Jim Jarmusch on a number of occasions.

Murray is indeed a partner of Murray Bros. Caddy Shack, a restaurant having two locations, alongside his brothers. In 2001, they built a site in St. Augustine, Florida, there at World Golf Village. The second facility, near O’Hare International Airport, debuted in 2018 within the Crowne Plaza Rosemont Hotel.
