During the June 14 to September 1966 season, Hawn travelled to California to dance in production at Melodyland Theatre, a theatre in the round across from Disneyland, where she joined the chorus of Pal Joey and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. During the 1967โ€“1968 television season, Hawn began her acting career as a cast member of the short-lived comedy Good Morning World, in which she played the girlfriend of a radio disc jockey with a stereotyped “dumb blonde” mentality.
