Denzel Washington Jr. is indeed an actor, director, as well as producer from the United States. He received his second Academy Award for Best Actor with his performance as crooked cop Alonzo Harris inside the crime thriller Training Day (2001). Washington had continued playing a variety of parts, including football coach Herman Boone in Remember the Titans (2000), poet as well as educator Melvin B. Tolson inside The Great Debaters (2007), drug lord Frank Lucas in American Gangster (2007), as well as an addicted airline pilot in Flight (2012).

In 2010, he received the Tony Award for Best Actor in such a Play with his role in the Broadway version of August Wilson’s play Fences.
