Ben Stiller is an actor, comedian, producer, director, as well as a screenwriter from the United States. Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, both comedians and actresses, are his parents.
After starting his began acting with such a play, Stiller went on to write many mockumentaries until landing his own show, The Ben Stiller Show, that he produced and presented for 13 episodes. He began performing in movies after previously appearing on television. During Reality Bites, he made his directorial debut. Over than 50 movies, along With the Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Zoolander, The Cable Guy, There’s Just Something About Mary, the Meet the Parents trilogy, DodgeBall, Tropic Thunder, the Madagascar series, and the Night at the Museum trilogy, have been written, went on to star in, directed, or produced by him over the course of his career. He’s also been in a number of music videos, television series, and movies.
Stiller is indeed a member of the so-called “Frat Pack,” a group of humorous performers. In Canada and the United States, his movies have made more than $2.6 billion, with an average of $79 million per feature. He has garnered several prizes and distinctions during his career, including an Emmy Award, multiple MTV Movie Awards, a Britannia Award, and a Teen Choice Award.
Stiller has been dubbed the “acknowledged leader” of the Frat Pack, a core group of performers who have appeared in several films together. Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson, and Steve Carell are among the cast members. Because of his numerous cameos and his frequent employment of the other members in parts in movies that he produces and directs, Stiller has been dubbed the group’s leader. He’s made the most appearances with Owen Wilson.
Stiller has indeed been engaged in 20 of the 35 core movies which are termed Frat Pack flicks in some form.
Stiller seems to be the only member of the Brat Pack who has featured in a film (Fresh Horses). He denies being a member of the “Frat Pack,” stating in a 2008 interview that the term was “totally manufactured.”
