Sanya Malhotra had her Bollywood début inside the movie Dangal, which also starred Aamir Khan. Ever since the young celebrity has acted in a number of popular movies and has recently purchased a luxury residence in Mumbai. Sanya’s new home is in the Bayview building, which is situated on the Juhu-Versova Link Road.
As per sources, builder Samir Bhojwani held the flat until it was transferred to Sanya Malhotra ownership on October 14, 2021. Sanya paid Rs. 14.3 crore again for flat, plus Rs. 71.5 lakh in stamp duty. Last year, superstar Hrithik Roshan purchased two flats in the very same building for about Rs. 100 crore.
Sanya Malhotra had already purchased a home inside the city in 2018.
Sanya Malhotra has appeared in numerous of Bollywood movies, notably Dangal, Badhaai Ho, Shakuntala Devi, Pagglait, Pataakha, as well as Ludo, to name a few. She will soon be seen on the Meenakshi Sundareshwar, in which she will star alongside Abhimanyu Dassani.
Sanya isn’t the first woman to buy a home in Mumbai. She gave herself additional property in the city in 2018, as well as she explained why she enjoys living within Mumbai at the moment. “This city (Mumbai) became my home. It’s safe, it calms me down and it fills me with a strange kind of independence. My family lives in Delhi and they visit often, but in the five years that I have been in Mumbai, this city has given me everything,” she remarked in an interview with a major newspaper.
She went on to explain why she chose to buy a home rather than rent one. “I used to stay in a one-bedroom apartment before I bought this place and the sole purpose of moving into a bigger house was to have my family come over from Delhi and stay comfortably with me whenever they want to. At first, I was sceptical about it, considering the finances, but my father convinced me that I should invest in my own house rather than renting out a place. I want to spend as much time as I can with my parents and now that I own a bigger space, I can literally steal my mother and keep her with me for months,” She added.
