In June of last year, Yami Gautam surprised her fans by announcing her marriage to filmmaker Aditya Dhar. In a joint social media announcement, the pair revealed that they had married in the actress’ birthplace of Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. Now, the Badlapur actress has revealed her perfect date with her hubby in a recent interview with ETimes. She also said that they like to stay at home rather than go out. “The truth is, we both aren’t really individuals that love going out much,” Yami said.
She mentioned that they liked spending time with each other at home during Aditya’s birthday celebrations. “We enjoy having our meals at home. Home is date, date is home. Stepping out every time might be boring. Aditya and I have a great time at home. We’ll watch something nice, we eat something that we want to eat.” Further, she also said that her hubby cooks really well. “He’s a great cook and I eat really well so that’s a great combination,” Yami mentioned.
Yami and Aditya met while shooting on Aditya’s directorial debut, Uri: The Surgical Strike, which won a National Award in 2019. Vicky Kaushal starred in the film as well.
In the meantime, Yami’s newest film, Dasvi, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur, was released on Netflix today. Next, she’ll appear in OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2 alongside Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, as well as Dhoom Dhaam, which also stars Pratik Gandhi and is directed by Aditya Dhar.
