Dasvi, Yami Gautam’s movie, has just been launched on the OTT platform, and the public has already given it rave reviews. She portrays Jyoti Deswal, a female officer in the movie. Yami Gautam spoke about the role and that she had a good time with it. “I had a lot of fun playing a Haryanvi cop in the film.” She went on to say that in the reception she received from her friends and family she said, “I’m ecstatic about the initial response to my performance. My family, my team, and some friends, who are always honest about their opinions with me, watched it a few days ago and I’m glad they strongly connected to my character throughout the film. Now I’m excited to hear what the audiences have to say about it.”
The actor from Bhoot Police stated that for Dasvi, she tried to do something completely new this time. “That gives me an adrenaline rush as an actress,” Yami Gautam stated. Yami has taken on the position of a police officer for the first time. She also believes that through Dasvi, she would be able to overcome prejudices. In fact, the film’s director, Tushar Jalota, revealed that Yami was his first and only option for the part. In addition to Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur, Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur star in the film. Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Jio Studios are behind Dasvi.
