With Singham 3, Ajay Devgn- Rohit Shetty to add a new face to cop world

According to the most recent rumours, Ajay Devgn’s Singham 3 would bring a new protagonist to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Currently, Rohit’s cop universe, Ajay Devgn (Singham), Akshay Kumar (Sooryavanshi), and Ranveer Singh (Simmba) are the trio.

In the third chapter of Singham, Rohit Shetty appears to be gearing up to take his police world to new heights. Rohit, who is now anticipating the release of Sooryavanshi, has nearly finished writing the script for the third movie alongside Yunus Sajawal. And word on the street is that Rohit will indeed be expanding his cop world with a new character.

According to a close source, “The makers are keeping it close to the chest and are not expected to make an announcement. They want the audience to be surprised — the way it happened in the good old days whenever there was an unspoken special appearance. You need to have something more for the viewer nowadays when they go for a theatrical experience and Singham 3 will give them that.”

The industry is buzzing about the new addition, and speculation is rife about whether it will be such an actor who has played previously a cop in another series or a youthful action movie star who’s never portrayed a cop.

In 2011, Rohit filmed Singham alongside Ajay Devgn, following with Singham 2 in 2014. Subsequently, he directed Ranveer Singh in Simmba (2018), which also included Ajay Devgn’s cameo and Akshay joining the movie as Sooryavanshi at the end. Akshay Kumar will star in the much-anticipated Sooryavanshi, which will also include Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Ajay Singh’s Singham.
