Yahoo published a list of the most searched celebrity which includes males and females in 2020. The most searched celebrity 2020 list published by Yahoo features actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide in June, is the most-searched male celebrity of the year, actress-model Rhea Chakraborty is the most-searched female celebrity of the year owing to her role in the Sushant death case.
Sushant is also the most Googled Indian celebrity in 2020, according to Yahoo.

Everyone was saddened by the terrible death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On June 14 2020 of this year, he was discovered dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. Following his death, his name was often mentioned in news stories and on social media. SSR, as he was affectionately known, was renowned for his roles in films like Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Chhichhore, Kedarnath, and Sonchiriya.
Rajput began his career in the theatrical industry in Mumbai after dropping out of his engineering studies at Delhi College of Engineering. He went on to star in Hindi television serials, with his first appearance in the romantic drama Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008), and then the lead part in the soap opera Pavitra Rishta (2009–2011).
In 2013, he made his Bollywood debut in the film adaption Kai Po Che!, which was a financial and critical success. Following that, he starred in the romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) and played the title character in the action thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshy (2015).
He left his fans and well-wishers, hanging himself with a ceiling fan and performing the act of suicide. Where he is, we will always remember his contribution to the Indian cinema industry as well as his off-screen work of building a better tomorrow.
