Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have jetted off to Russia to shot for the last leg of Tiger 3. They were clicked at the Mumbai airport early Friday morning, August 20. Sohail Khan and Seema Khan’s son Nirvan was also papped leaving for Russia with Salman.
Tiger 3 is helmed by Maneesh Sharma and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. As per reports Salman and Katrina have headed to Russia for a 45-day schedule, filled with intense action sequences. The team will also shoot in Turkey and Austria. Now, Salman and Katrina have been clicked at the airport twinning in black casual outfits.
Reportedly, the team of the film has worked for months to get all the permissions needed to shoot the film abroad. The makers didn’t want to compromise on the theatrical experience of the film, which is why they planned an extended international shoot.
The source revealed, “Katrina has left for Russia today for a 45 days international shoot. She will be performing high-octane never-before-seen stunt sequences in this schedule and has been extensively training for the same over the past couple of months.”
Earlier, regarding the last schedule of the film, the source said, “Salman and Katrina will land in Russia first and then head to multiple shooting destinations like Turkey and Austria. Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma didn’t want to compromise on the scale of the film despite the pandemic and they have planned Tiger 3 to be a visually spectacular theatrical experience. Thus, this schedule will add a lot to the film’s visual extravaganza, and some never seen before action sequences will be filmed.”
Tiger 3 is the highly-anticipated third installment of the Tiger franchise. The first film, titled Ek Tha Tiger released in 2021, was directed by Kabir Khan. Its sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai, came 2017. Now, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will reprise their roles as Raw agent Tiger and the Pakistani spy Zoya respectively. Tiger 3 will also star Emraan Hashmi in a negative role of an ISI agent.
