Salman Khan was Rekha’s next-door neighbour at the time, and he used to go to yoga sessions to catch a peek of her.
Salman Khan stated in an interview that he adored Rekha and wished to marry her. He also said that Rekha was the reason he had not married anyone. “Probably…why that’s I’m still single,” he explained.
“Shaayad meribhi isiliye nahin huyi… (That’s probably why even I’m not married),” the actress stated after hearing Salman’s remarks.
Salman has previously stated in an interview that he intended to marry Sangeeta Bijlani. Salman and Sangeeta, according to a prominent online page, were in love and had set their wedding dates. “Salman and Sangeeta were set to tie the wedding on May 27, 1994, but the occasion was unexpectedly called off,” according to Jasim Khan’s memoir Being Salman.
