Actor Ranveer Singh received a threatening WhatsApp voice note demanding crores of rupees, shortly after the shooting incident outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence sent shockwaves across Bollywood. The chilling message has triggered a full-scale investigation by Mumbai Police, who are now tracing the sender and probing possible links between the two incidents.
According to sources, the voice note, sent from an unidentified number, contained explicit threats and extortion demands, warning of dire consequences if the money was not paid. Alarmed by the nature of the threat, Ranveer Singh’s team immediately alerted the Mumbai Police, who registered the complaint and initiated technical surveillance.
