Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt recently made news when they married on April 14 in front of their closest friends and family. Although the performers kept their marriage a secret, photos from their wedding surfaced on the internet. Ranbir Kapoor was also rumoured to be throwing a bachelor party ahead of his wedding, but his close friend and co-star Aditya Roy Kapur has since confirmed that the Sanju actor did not have a party. Aditya and Ranbir shared screen time in Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, for those who are unaware.
Ranbir has previously stated on Koffee with Karan that he would have wanted to invite Aditya, Saif Ali Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan to his bachelorette party. On The Kapil Sharma Show, the ‘Aashiqui 2’ star revealed Ranbir’s bachelorette. “Hua ho nahi party, I’m still waiting,” he remarked. Following their wedding, Ranbir and Alia threw a party at their home, inviting major Bollywood celebs. At the celebration, Aditya Roy Kapur was also there. Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Malaika Arora were among those who attended.
After tying the knot, Alia Bhatt took to her social media handle and wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia.”
Meanwhile, on the job front, Ranbir is presently filming in Manali with Rashmika Mandanna for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Alia is now shooting on Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, in which she will star alongside Ranveer Singh.
Aditya Kapur is a Bollywood actor. Roy, too, has a number of intriguing projects in the works, including Om: The Battle Within and the Thadam remake.
