Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has proven to be one of the year’s most anticipated films. Due to the Covid-19 controversy and limitations, the film was previously rescheduled several times. After a long wait and several reschedules, Alia Bhatt’s film is finally due to hit theatres on February 25, 2022. On Friday, January 28, the same was announced.
Following the announcement of the Gangubai Kathiawadi film’s release date, the producers have now revealed that the trailer will be released on Wednesday. On February 4, 2022, the trailer for the much-anticipated biographical drama will be released. The creators made the announcement on their official Instagram account.
Bhansali Productions took to Instagram to present a new poster for the movie, together with the trailer release date. They wrote, “Sharing the poster, “a Gangu Rahi???? The trailer will be released on February 4th, and #GangubaiKathiawadi will be released in theatres on February 25th, 2022 “.
Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, as well as Seema Pahwa also feature in Bhansali’s movie. According to speculations, actor Emraan Hashmi will make a memorable cameo appearance. On February 25, Gangubai Kathiawadi will be released in theatres. Bhatt’s movie will collide with Ajith Kumar and Huma Qureshi’s highly awaited movie Valimai, which will then be released on February 24, the same day as Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Valimai was supposed to be released at Pongal 2022, but still the organizers had to postpone it owing towards the coronavirus epidemic. Valimai will be released in four languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, whereas Gangubai Kathiawadi will debut at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival this month.
