In the new year, the Marathi cinema industry has provided an abundance of amusement to its viewers. While many films are being shown in theatres, many more are being shown on the floors. With a plethora of outstanding Marathi films and entertainment, the year 2022 appears to be quite promising. Prasad Oak, the director of popular films like Kachcha Limbu and Hirkani, is preparing to release Chandramukhi, his greatest anticipated movie. The film will be released in theatres on April 29, 2022.
The trailer for Chandramukhi caused a lot of talk in the business last year. The first trailer succeeded to shatter Marathi cinema aficionados’ imaginations and generated anticipation for a massive box office blockbuster. The fascinating beat of the dhol, a beautifully furnished stage, as well as the feet of a woman about to dance her heart out teased the audience sufficiently. Chandramukhi is a romantic comedy about an ambitious, astute politician as well as a mesmerising, beautiful Tamasha girl. This is a film version of Vishwas Patil’s popular book of the same name, which will then be released in theatres this year.

Akshay Bardapurkar, Planet Marathi, Golden Ratio Films, as well as Creative Vibe Productions are producing Chandramukhi, which is co-produced by Flying Dragon Entertainment as well as Lightwiden Entertainment. The dialogues for such a movie were written by Chinmay Mandlekar. The main cast of ‘Chandramukhi’, as well as other performers, are being kept a secret, but they will be revealed shortly during the movie’s promotion, and they will measure back to the high level of interest among spectators.
