‘The Kashmir Files,’ directed by Vivek Agnihotri, isn’t slowing down anytime soon, and the film’s release is reaching new heights. The movie, which is about the migration of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley by Islamic extremists inside the late 1980s and 1990s, has garnered a lot of positive feedback from fans, and it is still roaring at the box office inside its second week. On its second Monday, it made Rs. 179.75 crore.
The Kashmir Files began with Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer ‘Bachchchan Paandey,’ and it has already eclipsed Akki’s box office earnings. Taran Adarsh, a film critic and trade expert, revealed the numbers on Twitter.

Clearly, Anupam Kher’s film has eclipsed Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bachchchan Paandey,’ which opened in theatres on March 18. Not only that, but it much outstripped the collections of ‘Sooryavanshi’ as well as ‘Spiderman.’
