Agastya and Navya’s loving mother, Shweta Bachchan, reportedly denied being their best friend.

Since the publication of the trailer, the first episode of What the Hell Navya, Navya Naveli Nanda’s new podcast, has been the talk of the town. The 31-minute program had some fascinating revelations from Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya, her mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda, a writer and businesswoman, and her grandmother, renowned performer Jaya Bachchan. Shweta, a devoted mother, had a few energizing chats and discussed having one’s own source of income. But she insisted that she is a mom first and not her daughter’s best friend.

Navya discussed her relationship with Shweta and Jaya in an interview with the Times of India, saying, “More than being family, we are also very good friends. I think the way that we speak to each other keeps the chemistry going.”

Shweta, on the other hand, spoke candidly about being a parent before agreeing to be her daughter’s friend. She emphasized that she is open-minded, that she offers Navya room and guidance, and that she also understands if Navya rejects the advice.

She continued by saying that we should start listening to our daughters’ opinions rather than only our elders’. She expressed her wish for Navya to be financially stable and noted that Navya’s confidence would increase if she was able to support herself without the help of her father.
