Lata Mangeshkar, a legendary vocalist, died this morning. At Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, she passed away. Since the news of her untimely death broke, social media has been swamped with those lamenting her passing. Lata Mangeshkar’s death has elicited condolences from a number of Bollywood superstars. As he lamented the death, Salman Khan moved to Instagram to post a flashback photo of himself with the nightingale.
On the platform of an award event, Salman Khan is seen standing with Lata Mangeshkar. Lata Mangeshkar may be seen on stage with the microphone, smiling. Sharing this Salman Khan, “U will be missed our nightingale. But ur voice shall live with us forever … #RIPLataji.” The moment Salman Khan shared this post, fans took to the comments section to express their grief. Many celebs have been seen at Lata Mangeshkar’s home since the morning. Outside her home, Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, Bhagyashree, Sachin Tendulkar, and others were photographed.
Lata Mangeshkar’s mortal remains would be taken to her Peddar Road apartment Prabhu Kunj at 12:30 p.m., according to reports. The family members will leave after 3 p.m. for Dadar’s Shivaji Park, where the funeral rituals are expected to begin at 4 p.m.
