Salman Khan has left Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha production

This April, Aamir Khan returns to the big screen with Laal Singh Chaddha, which is easily one of the most anticipated films of the year. It has been widely rumoured over the past three years that the film will have cameo appearances by Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. We can officially announce that Salman Khan will not be appearing in this highly anticipated flick.

“Aamir had reserved a special part for Salman in Laal Singh , however, with the date of release nearing, he has decided to chop that off completely. While multiple attempts were made to shoot the cameo, the dates of Salman couldn’t match. So, he is no longer a part of Laal Singh Chaddha,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.

Salman was set to reprise his role as Prem from Maine Pyar Kiya in this movie, which follows the protagonist’s 6-decade odyssey. Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, remains a part of Laal Singh Chaddha. He’ll be reprising his role as Raj from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. “Shah Rukh Khan has already begun filming for his role in Laal Singh Chaddha. The shoot took place in early 2020, the day before the Delhi epidemic. In reality, SRK’s cameo appearance was directed by Aamir Khan himself, according to the source.

If Aamir had pulled off the sequence, it would have represented the first time in 35 years that the top three stars of Hindi cinema — Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan – had worked together in a major film. But, sadly, we’ll have to wait and see.

On April 14, Laal Singh Chaddha will be released in theatres. Kareena Kapoor Khan plays the female lead in the film.
