Ronit Roy discusses working on Shamshera with Ranbir Kapoor

Shamshera, starring Ranbir Kapoor, will be released in theatres soon. Since the trailer was released, fans have been anticipating the release of the film. Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor, and Ronit Roy also play key parts in the film. The action drama is set in the 1800s and tells the narrative of a dacoit tribe and their quest for independence against British domination. Ronit Roy, who will star alongside Sangeeta Ghosh in the new daily soap Sawaran Ghar, is making a comeback to television. The actor recently talked up about working with Ranbir Kapoor in Shamshera in an interview with The Indian Express.

While speaking to the news portal, Ronit Roy praised co-star Ranbir Kapoor and said, “As for Ranbir, he is a darling. It was a pleasure to be on and off set with him, and interact with him. He has an intelligent mind and he’s so calm. He conducts himself with so much respect. He is truly a darling.” He also heaped praise on Sanjay Dutt and said, “Dutt saab is Dutt saab, there is just one Sanjay Dutt. I think that says it all.”

He also spoke on working under the Yash Raj Films brand, saying that Dharma and Yash Raj are two very different entities, and that his experiences working with them are vastly different. He also stated that he is working with new producers such as Himanshu Sharma and Aman Gill, which he considers to be on par with working with some of the industry’s biggest names. On July 22, the action drama Shamshera will be released in theatres. Karan Malhotra is the director of the film. Yash Raj Films is producing the multilingual film.

Ronit Roy’s filmography also includes Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger, Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada, and Shahid Kapoor’s Bloody Daddy.
