Ranveer Singh on no work-life balance: Until Deepika joined my life that I realised how fortunate I was to be alive

Ranveer Singh is preparing to debut Jayeshbhai Jordaar, his next social drama, following the success of his sports drama 83. Ranveer Singh is gradually ramping up his film’s promotion, and in a recent interview with Grazia India, he discussed achieving a work-life balance.

Ranveer has expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work on a project that he adores in various interviews. In a similar vein, Ranveer reiterated that he does not take acting or his desire of being an actor for granted. “There are times when I just burst into tears. To know that despite there being so much sadness and hurt around us, I still have a home to go back to, or being able to do the work that I want to. There was a time, nine years back, when I’d complain about having too much work. I’m not that person anymore. That’s the last thing I’d do now.”

Despite being at the pinnacle of his profession, Ranveer stated that he had no work-life balance. When wifey Deepika Padukone joined his life, however, everything changed for the better. He continued, “All we have is time and what defines us is what we truly do with it. I’ve been obsessed with my craft, and I had zero work-life balance for the longest time. It was only when Deepika (Padukone) came into my life that she made me appreciate living it. She sits down with me and goes through my calendar to ensure the same.”

Although Ranveer and Deepika have a busy shooting schedule, they make time for one other.
