Rakul Preet Singh describes herself as a “very hungry actor” before of the premiere of Runway 34.

Rakul Preet Singh, who is now awaiting the release of her forthcoming film ‘Runway 34,’ has spoken up about her experience as a movie actress. She stated that becoming an actress has not yet settled in her mind and that she believes she has not accomplished anything.

With the bilingual ‘Keratam,’ the 31-year-old actress made her Telugu and Tamil debut in 2011. ‘Venkatadri Express,’ ‘Loukyam,’ ‘Pandaga Chesko,’ ‘Sarrainodu,’ ‘Dhruva,’ ‘Rarandoi Veduka Chudham,’ ‘Spyder,’ and ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ are among her popular Telugu and Tamil films. Rakul made her Hindi cinema debut in 2014 with ‘Yaariyan,’ and followed up with ‘De De Pyaar De,’ which was a box office triumph in 2019.

Talking about her 11 year acting journey, Rakul Preet Singh in a conversation with IANS said: “I don’t look back to begin with because I don’t think there is a point in looking back. I am not a person who evaluates ‘oh I have come so far’ because I still don’t think I have achieved alot. I have still a lot more to do.

“Me being an actor has still not settled in my head and I don’t want it to settle because I want myself to keep craving for more.”

Rakul Preet Singh calls herself a “very greedy actor, who wants to do more.”

“I want to do more films, different roles, do the commercial ‘naach gana’ films, do films like Runway, strike a balance for every audience. So I am a very greedy actor and I just look in the future.”

‘Runway 34,’ directed by Ajay Devgn, is produced by Ajay Devgn Films with Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Sandeep Harish Kewlani, Tarlok Singh Jethi, Hasnain Husaini, and Jay Kanujia as co-producers.

‘Runway 34’ is said to be based on the actual story of a Jet Airways Doha to Kochi aircraft that narrowly escaped disaster in August 2015 when it was unable to land at Cochin International Airport owing to terrible weather and poor visibility around 5.45 a.m.

The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani, Aakanksha Singh, and Angira Dhar, will be released on April 29 in theatres, competing with Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Heropanti 2.’
