‘They appreciate that I’m wearing a uniform,’ Rakul Preet Singh said of her parents’ reaction to Runway 34

Because of its innovative premise and great cast, Ajay Devgn’s forthcoming movie Runway 34 has become one of the most talked-about movies. Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Boman Irani co-star alongside him in the film, which is based on actual events. Aakanksha Singh and Angira Dhar will also play significant parts. Rakul Preet has shared her parents’ response to her signing with Runway 34 in a recent interview.

For those who don’t know, Rakul’s father was an army officer, making this a very personal experience for her. Rakul informed Hindustan Times about her father’s response. “My parents love that I am wearing a uniform in the film, but they won’t say anything until they watch it. My father gives me critical reviews. So, for me, they are the public; I get the best reviews from them.”

Ajay Devgn directed a portion of the film in an actual simulated cockpit, which helped Rakul better understand her character. Rakul noted that the true homework for her job was to learn how to operate the cockpit, and that there was a caption on set to help them. The 31-year-old also revealed that she has spent a lot of time perfecting her tone for the picture.

She went on to say that because there was a restricted amount of room to shoot, Ajay Devgn had set up seven cameras in the cockpit so that no shots had to be repeated.

On the 29th of April, 2022, Runway 34 will be released in theatres.
