Race is indeed a 2008 Bollywood Hindi-language action drama movie scripted by Kiran Kotrial and Shiraz Ahmed and directed by Abbas–Mustan. Tips Industries was in charge of the production of the film. Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, as well as Sameera Reddy feature inside the key roles in the first episode of the Race movie franchise. The plot is based on the 1998 Hollywood movie Goodbye Lover and deals with family rivalry, betrayal, and desire. Dalip Tahil and Johnny Lever are among the Race’s supporting cast members.
Durban and Dubai were used as filming locations for Race. It opened globally on March 21, 2008, to overwhelmingly good reviews from critics, who praised the film’s performances and music, despite mixed reactions to the storyline. Race was a box office smash, generating a total of 103.45 crores worldwide on a budget of 46 crores, and became one of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies of the year. It was titled Panthayam in Tamil and Race Telugu in Telugu, and that it spawned two sequels: Race 2 in 2013 and Race 3 in 2018, the latter of which was a reboot.
Apparently, Akshay Kumar was cast in the major role of Ranvir Singh, while Saif Ali Khan was cast as Rajiv Singh’s antagonist. Since both of them, though, turned down the positions.

Tips Music released the Race soundtrack on March 1, 2008. The race featured 7 original songs, 9 remixes, as well as an instrumental theme, and also was composed by Pritam with lyrics by Sameer.
Monali Thakur and Neeraj Shridhar recorded the song “Khwab Dekhe (Sexy Lady)” after that the album was released, replacing the movie’s original composition “Mujh Pe Toh Jadoo.” Well after releasing the movie, Tips re-released the music, added “Khwab Dekhe (Sexy Lady)” to the mix. DJ Suketu ft. Aks created all of the remix versions.
