Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30, 2020. On September 3, one day before his 69th birth anniversary, his wife and actress Neetu Kapoor, and daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, took to Instagram to remember him with special posts.
Rishi Kapoor was born on September 4, 1952. Neetu Kapoor dropped a heart-touching post remembering him on Friday. Sharing an old photo she wrote, “Just one of those days.” The caption at the bottom of the photo reads, “A strong gust of wind ruined everything.”
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni remembered her late father Rishi Kapoor. She shared a precious throwback photo of him with her daughter Samara Sahni and added heart emojis to the post.
On his 68th birth anniversary, last year, Riddhima had penned a heartfelt note in memory of her father. “Papa, They say when you lose someone, you can’t live without -your heart will badly break! But I know you are living in this broken heart & will be there forever! I know you are watching over all of us & ensuring that we live by the value system you instilled in us! You gave me the gift of compassion -taught me the value of relationships & made me the person I am today! I miss you each day & will always love you! Celebrating you today & always – Happy Birthday,” she added.
Rishi Kapoor died on April 30 last year at the age of 67. The actor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. For around a year the actor got his treatment in New York. He then returned to India in September 2019.
Riddhima Kapoor couldn’t attend her father’s funeral due to the nationwide lockdown imposed by the government to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, a day later, she traveled to Mumbai with her daughter to be with her family.
