The anticipation around Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding has been all over the news recently. It was just last month that news leaked that the couple will eventually tie the knot in April. Meanwhile, we have revealed that the pair will marry next week, with the wedding celebrations set to begin on April 13th. The facts have been kept under wraps by Ranbir, Alia, and their entourage. Neetu Kapoor has now skirted the topic of her son’s wedding dates as well.
Neetu Kapoor told PTI that she doesn’t know when Ranbir and Alia’s wedding would take place. “I have been hearing about it (the wedding) for two years but I don’t know when (it will happen). Let’s see when. Sometimes, it is going to happen in Ranthambore, RK Studios. Places and dates keep changing (referring to media reports). I hope and pray it happens very soon. Let the astrologers come out with dates, some are saying April 15, 17. We are having good fun,” the Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress said.
We previously reported that the couple, who have been dating for some years, will exchange vows at the Kapoors’ ancestral RK home in Chembur, where Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor also wedded. We also exclusively revealed that they would marry in the early morning hours of April 16th, between 2 and 4 a.m., due to the Kapoors’ fascination with the number 8.
