Meenakshi Sheshadri, one of the most well-known actors of the 1980s and 1990s, is making news with her new appearance. Meenakshi tweeted a snapshot of herself on Sunday, flaunting her new appearance, as well as the photo quickly went popular on social media. Fans lavished her with praise.

“You are my crush,” an admirer said in response to her post. “Meenakshi, you still look so stunning, your performance in HERO was simply great,” another admirer said.

A third person stated, “Ma’am, I’ve always thought of you as one of the most gorgeous actresses in our industry’s history. Shalu from Sheshanshan was the pinnacle of this. Today, you demonstrate yet another of my beliefs… ‘elegance is everlasting’! I wish you good health and joy.”

For the uninitiated, Meenakshi Sheshadri travelled to the United States with her husband Harish Mysore after they married. They have two children and live together. She is presently teaching Indian Classical Dance and has also established the Cherish Institute of Dance, a dance institution.

Rumours of her death hit the news last year. By posting a photo of herself on Instagram, she put a stop to the rumours. “Dance position,” she captioned the shot.

In 1983, she got her cinematic debut. Her roles in movies such as Hero, Aandhi-Toofan, Swati, Dilwaala, Shahenshah, Mahaadev, Ghar Ho To Aisa, Damini, as well as Satyamev Jayate made her a star.

She left the movie profession following the release of her movie Ghatak to raise her children with her husband. The former actress uses social media to keep her admirers up to speed on her life.
