Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, is currently in production. As the famous event began, filmmaker Karan Johar became nostalgic as he took millions of his followers on a trip down memory lane.
Speaking of which, Karan took to Instagram’s stories section a few hours ago to share a photo of Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, and Dibakar Banerjee attending the Cannes Film Festival in 2013. They attended the event to watch the premiere of their film Bombay Talkies. For those unfamiliar, Bombay Talkies is a four-part anthology film directed by Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar, and Anurag Kashyap.
When it comes to Karan Johar’s professional career, he is now directing Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a film starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. Following Gully Boy, this will be their second collaboration. It’s worth noting that with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Karan Johar returned to directing after a six-year hiatus. Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan all play important parts in the movie.
Karan has already confirmed that the film will be released on February 10, 2023. The filmmaker took to Instagram to post a smiling photo with his leading lady and said, “So much josh and jazbaati jawaani, Pritam ki dhamakedar dhun bhi hai sunani, Garam Dharam ka swag toh dekho Bas humari favourite Jaya ji ki tasveer mat kheencho! Ab unki beshumaar tareef karni hai lazmi, The one and only Shabana Azmi!”
He further added, “Aur phir Gucci mein lipta Ranveer as Rocky, Ishq ke ghode pe savaar like an aashiq jockey! Box office ki maharani humari Alia Rani, Kya phir banegi dulhania in this kahaani?
