As we all know that recently in the month of June, Filmmaker Karan Johar has launched the Yash Johar Foundation in memory of his father. Read to know more.
Karan Johar launched this foundation with the aim to improve the quality of life for people in the Indian entertainment industry. While we have initiated the implementation of long-term sustainable plans that will enhance the lives of people and their families in the industry. We have also ensured that immediate solutions are being provided to help them deal with the effects of the on-going global pandemic.

Entitling with the aim of the foundation, recently the foundation distributed 100 ration kits to the daily wage workers also known as Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE). The president of FWICE also told that Karan’s foundation has promised to distribute 300 more Ration Kits by next week and has committed to Distribute 500 kits every month from here on. Each packet of ration kit includes rice, dal, wheat flour, salt, sugar, and tea leaves.
The team of FWICE will make sure that every month new daily wage cine workers are been distributed the ration kits. We hope that with this great initiative of supporting each other and lending a helping. With will very soon overcome this crisis situation and return back to our normal lifestyles. A big salute to such foundations for coming forward and letting the powerless know that we have got each other’s back in good situations as well as back or worse situations.
