Jism

Jism is indeed a 2003 Bollywood sexual thriller movie edited as well as directed by Amit Saxena, scripted by Mahesh Bhatt, and produced by Pooja Bhatt and Sujit Kumar Singh underneath the banners Fish Eye Network Ltd and Shreya Creations, starring Bipasha Basu as well as John Abraham, the latter on his Bollywood debut. M. M. Keeravani composed the movie’s soundtrack. Jism was placed 92nd in Channel 4’s poll of the top 100 sexiest movie scenes. The film is a remake of Body Heat, which has been based on Billy Wilder’s 1944 movie Double Indemnity, which was a remake of James M. Cain’s novel Double Indemnity.

In Pondicherry, Kabir (John Abraham), an unhappy, fairly impoverished, alcoholic lawyer, leads a playboy lifestyle. Siddharth (Vinay Pathak), a cop, and Vishal (Ranvir Shorey), a coworker, are Kabir’s greatest pals and strive to keep him out of trouble. He encounters Sonia Khanna (Bipasha Basu Singh Grover), the lovely wife of Rohit Khanna, a travelling millionaire (Gulshan Grover).

They have such a turbulent relationship, and Kabir falls truly in love with Sonia. He advises her to obtain a divorce, but she refuses, claiming that her husband is capable of murdering both of them. Sonia ultimately persuades Kabir to assassinate her husband and make it appear as though it was an accident. She also recommends that they change Rohit’s will so that she receives all of his possessions. Kabir attempts to reason with her, but she changes the will to name him as executor nonetheless. Priyanka, Rohit’s sister, attempts to warn him that Sonia is simply for money and has previously murdered Rohit’s first wife. The case’s lead investigator, Siddharth, suspects Kabir and is torn between friendship and duty. Kabir attempts to persuade Sonia to accompany him out of town. Simply when she sends someone to assassinate him does he realise she only wants the money.

Sonia denies ever loving Kabir when he confronts her. She shoots him as he threatens to turn himself in and confess his crime to the cops. He’s been shot in the abdomen, yet he manages to get up. As he stands, Sonia runs up to him and tells him that she has always loved him. The pistol goes off in Sonia’s hands after they have a passionate kiss. As he puts Sonia down on the sofa, it is revealed that Kabir shot her in the stomach.

He then runs and contacts Siddharth, telling him to meet him at the beach with Vishal. They run upon Kabir, who apologises as well as says he only wants to witness the sunrise one final time. Kabir gets a vision of Sonia approaching him as they await the sunrise. Kabir grins to himself before succumbing to his injuries.
