The fantasy drama starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, directed by Ayan Mukerji, has been one of the most eagerly anticipated films in recent years. The film’s production began five years ago in 2017, but there were numerous setbacks along the road. Fans of Ralia may now celebrate, as the trailer for Brahmastra will finally be released today, June 15th. Did you know that Ranbir Kapoor lovingly stated in 2018 that he intended to form a “great cinematic relationship” with ladylove Alia Bhatt? That’s right, you read that correctly. Ranbir addressed the relationship rumours with Alia in a 2018 interview with Hindustan Times, admitting that he was in a “happy, great, and lovely moment in life.” He also expressed his feelings on working with her in Brahmastra, saying, “I really hope that I have the opportunity in Brahmastra to make a great cinematic couple with Alia and do good work with her.”
It’s worth noting that this will be the first time the husband-and-wife team will appear onscreen together in a film.
Both Ranbir and Alia used social media to inform their millions of fans and followers about the trailer’s release.
