Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor married on April 14th at the Vastu mansion of the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple married in a small ceremony with only their closest family and friends in attendance. Since the news of the Bollywood couple’s wedding broke, fans and followers of the lovebirds have been giddy with anticipation, eager to see never-before-seen photos from their fantasy wedding. Now, a new photograph of Alia from her wedding has surfaced on the internet. The official photographers (House On The Clouds) posted the photo on their Instagram account.
The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress looked simply stunning in a Sabyasachi saree for her D-Day. She donned a hand-dyed ivory organza saree instead of the traditional lehenga. Ranbir, on the other hand, looked stunning in an ivory embroidered silk sherwani by Sabyasachi, matching his ladylove. Alia Bhatt is seen showing her side profile as she joyfully smiled for the photographer in the black and white portrait. In this previously discovered shot, she certainly looked royal. Alia Bhatt accessorised with a Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery thick choker necklace, matching jhumkas, and a matha patti. Her hair was left open in lovely waves with a central parting, and she wore it down.
Alia Bhatt sent a sweet comment on Instagram announcing her wedding to Ranbir: “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married.
