Hema Malini felt compelled to share a ‘twinning’ photograph with Dharmendra, and she did so

Hema Malini, a veteran actress, published two photos on social media on Wednesday after returning to Mumbai from a whirlwind trip to Chicago. The actor-turned-politician was in Chicago for a fundraiser and had been posting photos from her trip to the United States. Meanwhile, in the first photo of her new post, we can see Hema and Dharmendra seated and twinning in red. Hema, on the other hand, can be seen folding her hands in the second photo.

Hema Malini, who shared the photos, wrote: “Back in Mumbai after a hectic trip and meeting so many of the diaspora. Going through some fairly recent photos, I came across these and felt like sharing.”

She had also tweeted numerous images from the Chicago fundraiser, praising the Indian diaspora for their commitment to the community’s growth. She penned, ‘’It was an insightful eve with elite members of the Ind society who are the pillars for all Indians settled in and around Chicago. They have contributed immensely towards the betterment of the community, built many temples in addition to their major contribution to the Iskcon temple.’’

The pair celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary earlier this month. The couple has been married since 1980 and their merger has been one of Bollywood’s most popular celebrity weddings. Hema tweeted a gorgeous snapshot of the two of them on an important day, as well as a sweet letter for her admirers that said, “Our wedding anniversary today, I thank God for all these years of happiness, our darling children and grandchildren, our well-wishers everywhere! I feel truly blessed.”

Hema Malini is a Member of Parliament representing Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, where she works. Dharmendra will next be seen in the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,’ which also stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,’ directed by Karan Johar, is produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Aside from them, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan play important parts in the film. On February 10, 2023, it will be released in theatres.
