Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Alia Bhatt, has received a UA certificate

Fans have been swooning over Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi’s first look since it was published. Fans can’t stop admiring the actress now that the teaser has finally been published. Everyone is praising her brave performance in the film, which is unlike anything Alia has ever done on the big screen. The CBFC certification and cutbacks are the biggest issues that all filmmakers encounter. According to reports, even Sanjay Leela Bhansali had to endure some small edits before receiving a UA certificate.

According to sources in India Today, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is due to be released on February 25, a UA certificate with some minor changes. According to reports, the film’s runtime has barely been cut by a minute or two after all of the adjustments. A sequence in which India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, is seen planting a rose atop Gangubai has been changed. This Alia Bhatt starrer was just premiered at the Berlin Film Festival 2022 and received rave reviews.

Meanwhile, the trailer for the movie’s first song, Dholida, starring Alia Bhatt, was unveiled yesterday, and it has already received positive feedback. Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Shantanu Maheshwari, Jim Sarbh, Varun Kapoor, and Indira Tiwari will also appear in the biographical crime thriller, which is based on Hussain Zaidi’s novel Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
