The much-discussed wedding of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is causing quite a stir on social media. The wedding ceremonies for the pair will take place between the 13th and the 17th of April. The couple will exchange vows under the stars on April 15 between 2 and 4 a.m., as per Punjabi tradition. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Varun Dhawan, Ayan Mukerji, Zoya Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Masaba Gupta, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and others are expected to attend the wedding ceremony.
Evelyn Sharma, Ranbir’s co-star in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, has lavished affection on the soon-to-be-married pair ahead of their wedding. Evelyn Sharma, speaking to India Today, remarked, “I wish them all the happiness in the world and life filled with love and laughter”. For those who are unaware, Evelyn collaborated with Ranbir in 2013 on the movie Lara Khanna, in which she played the part of Lara Khanna.
Returning to Alia and Ranbir’s wedding, the pair will tie the knot in Vaastu, the Barfi actor’s Bandra mansion. Alia Bhatt will wear Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi costumes for her wedding celebrations, while Neetu Singh, Alia’s mother-in-law, will also wear Manish Malhotra dresses.
However, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen the next one in Shamshera, with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The film, directed by Karan Malhotra, will be released on July 22nd this year. Ranbir even has Alia Bhatt in Ayan Mukerji’s much-anticipated fantasy movie Brahmastra. Alia, on the other hand, just made her Hollywood debut in the film ‘Heart of Stone.’
