Climate change is indeed a subject that should be discussed as widely as possible, given its influence on any and all living things. Now, actress Bhumi Pednekar, who has always been active about the topic, is slated to speak with Harvard University students about the issue and its impact. The Badhaai Do actress will speak to the pupils about climate change and therefore will convey her views on the topic. Bhumi is ecstatic to be granted the opportunity to lecture at Harvard.
Speaking about it, Bhumi added that she has always desired to generate greater awareness on the issues linked to climate change. The Badhaai Do star said, “I wanted to reach out to as many people as possible on this in my country and also across the world. I’m happy to say that I can see people around me change slowly. It is heartening for me to see that people are paying attention to what can happen if we don’t address the issue of climate change and making small changes in their lives to conserve.”
Not only that, but Bhumi believes that speaking at Harvard University will have an influence on the generation’s brightest brains. She considers it to be the “greatest venue” for discussing concerns relating to climate change’s effects.
She said, “People across the world are rallying together to make a difference. I salute all these climate warriors as they try to save lives and this beautiful planet of ours. It is my honour to speak at the Harvard University and discuss the issue of climate change with the youth of the world.” Bhumi urged everyone to take responsibility for climate protection, noting that each individual should really be aware of the influence they have on the environment.
She said, ” I would want to appeal to each and every citizen of the world to become climate warriors and Harvard University is a great platform to connect with the future of this world and urge them to also make a difference at their individual level.” However, Bhumi recently revealed her involvement in Afwaah, a film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Besides that, she is now earning a lot of accolades for her performance in Badhaai Do, a movie about homosexuality. The movie has garnered a lot of positive feedback from Bhumi and Rajkummar Rao fans and is currently playing in theatres.
