Bhumi Pednekar is one of Bollywood’s most brilliant actresses. She debuted in the film business in 2015 with the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha, and she hasn’t looked back since. She has received critical acclaim for her performances in films like as Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, and Badhaai Do. However, she has played a strong-willed small-town girl in the majority of her films.

Bhumi spoke up about portraying a small-town girl in the movies in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, saying she isn’t afraid of being stereotyped. She added, “I don’t think representing 70% of the country can stereotype me. I want to represent them (small-town girls) and would love to be a part of stories that represent them.”

Bhumi, who has been in the industry for seven years, added that she has always had films that suit the sort of movie she wanted to do. “A lot of credit for that goes to my first film because it set the tone and path of what I want to do,” Bhumi concluded.

Bhumi had already expressed her thanks for the fantastic reception to Badhaai Do in an interview with India Today regarding the film’s success. “There was a tremendous amount of confidence that we had in the script and it gratifies me that the audiences have loved the film so much,” she added.

However, Bhumi is looking forward more to her forthcoming films, which include Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan and Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani’s Govinda Naam Mera.
