Bajrangi Bhaijaan: All you should know about the Salman Khan movie

Kabir Khan helmed and co-wrote Bajrangi Bhaijaan, a 2015 Indian Bollywood comedy-drama film alongside K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, Kausar Munir, as well as Parveez Sheikh. It stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, as well as debutante Harshaali Malhotra and thus is produced by Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh. It describes the tale of Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi, an ardent devotee of Hindu deity Hanuman, who embarks on a journey to return a mute six-year-old Pakistani Muslim girl Shahida, who has been separated from her family.

The primary filming for the film, which has a budget of 90 crores, began in November 2014. Aseem Mishra did the cinematography, while Rameshwar S. Bhagat edited the film. The film’s soundtrack was created by Julius Packiam, whereas the songs used in the movie were created by Pritam.

The narrative, language, music, photography, acting and directing of Bajrangi Bhaijaan earned widespread appreciation from reviewers. It was an enormous commercial success. It is now the third highest-grossing Motion picture and the second-highest-grossing Bollywood movie, with a worldwide total of 969 crores.

So at 63rd National Film Prizes, it received the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Offering Wholesome Entertainment, and even at the 61st Filmfare Awards, this was nominated for four awards, notably Best Movie and Lead Actor, and received the Filmfare Award for Best Story. In China’s 2015 Douban Movie Awards, this was also nominated for Best Foreign Language film.

Originally, A. R. Rahman was in discussions to write the movie’s soundtrack, but he declined to do so. Kabir Khan’s regular partners wrote the songs, with Pritam penning the songs and Julius Packiam creating the soundtrack.

The film’s music became a smash hit. Adnan Sami’s track “Bhar Do Jholi” was one of the year’s biggest hits. The soundtrack album, which includes eleven songs, was published on June 17, 2015. “Tu Chahiye and Selfie Le Le Re are chart-topping songs.

The qawwali “Bhar Do Jholi Meri Ya Muhammad,” penned by Purnam Allahabadi and performed as well as sung by that of the Sabri Brothers, is included in the movie. Adnan Sami Khan’s voice was used to reimagine the qawwali. In separate cases, EMI Pakistan and Amjad Sabri, heir towards the Sabri Brothers, have demanded legal proceedings against the movie’s and qawwali’s creators.
